- Ensure your substrate is clean and dry. Make sure you have a level even pressing space. Whether you use a heat press or iron, you will need heavy even pressure. A pressing pillow could help
- Place the patch where you would like it. Make sure it is level and that the chenille is face up (glue is face down)
- Cover space with parchment paper or thin towel - this is to protect the letters and the surrounding fabric
- Heat your iron to 400 and use heavy pressure for 15 seconds
- Turn garment inside out (if possible) and heat for a few seconds from the inside
