If you're new to sublimation, a big, straightforward shape like this 40oz tumbler is a forgiving place to start. There's a wide body to work with, a handle that keeps your hands off the print while you're learning to press, and enough surface area that small alignment mistakes are less noticeable than they'd be on something smaller. It's a good first big tumbler to practice a full wraparound design on before you move to trickier shapes.

This one comes in five shimmer shades, from white shimmer through pink, purple and aqua, so beginners can build a small colour range without ordering five different shapes. It's double-wall stainless with a handle built in. The settings above are a starting point, so prove them on one before the rest of the order. Q: Can this shimmer tumbler take a UV DTF wrap instead of a sublimated design?
A: Yes, UV DTF and vinyl both stick well to the stainless body, and the shimmer base still peeks through at the edges of a decal if you leave any gaps in the design.

Q: Is this dishwasher safe once it's decorated?
A: Hand wash is the safer call. Dishwasher heat and detergent will fade a sublimated print over repeated cycles, even though the blank itself is sturdy enough to survive one wash.
