DTF Transfers (fabric)

Pre-press your garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture. Place the transfer face-up on the garment, cover with parchment paper or a teflon sheet. Press at 280-300°F for 10-20 seconds with heavy pressure. Hot or cold peel once cool enough to touch. Re-press with parchment paper for 5-10 seconds on heavy pressure.

UV DTF Permanent Stickers (hard surfaces)

Clean the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and let dry. Peel the white backing. Position the sticker carefully, as UV DTF is permanent and not repositionable once it touches the surface. Press down firmly. Burnish from the center outward with a squeegee or credit card to remove air bubbles. Slowly peel off the top transfer film at a 180-degree angle. Allow 24 hours to fully cure before exposing to water or heavy contact.

Sublimation Transfers (polyester or poly-coated)

For fabric: pre-press to remove moisture. Place the transfer ink-side-down on the substrate, secure with heat tape if needed. Press at 400°F for 60 seconds with firm pressure. For mugs and tumblers, use a mug press at 400°F for 4-5 minutes. Peel hot. Sublimation requires polyester (65%+) or poly-coated surfaces - it will not show on cotton.

Vinyl Stickers (windows, signage, decals)

Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol. Peel the paper backing carefully - the vinyl stays on the transfer tape. Position on your surface and press firmly. Burnish all areas with a squeegee or credit card. Peel transfer tape back at a sharp angle, slowly. Best applied at temperatures above 50F for proper adhesion.

For DTF and Sublimation transfers (after pressing on garments):

• Wait 24 hours before first wash
• Machine wash inside out in cold water
• Use mild detergent - avoid bleach or fabric softeners
• Tumble dry low or hang dry
• Do not iron directly over the design - iron inside out if needed

For UV DTF, Vinyl, and Laminated Stickers:

• UV DTF stickers: allow a full 24-hour cure, then top rack only, no sanitize setting or heated dry. Hand wash recommended for longest life
• Vinyl stickers: avoid abrasive cleaning; use mild soap and water. Best kept indoors or for short-term outdoor use
• Laminated stickers: waterproof and UV protected, safe outdoors and top-rack dishwasher safe. Skip the sanitize setting and heated dry; avoid abrasive scrubbing for longest life

What is the difference between DTF and UV DTF?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are heat-pressed onto fabric like t-shirts, hoodies, and bags. UV DTF Permanent Stickers are peel-and-stick decals for hard surfaces like tumblers, mugs, phone cases, and laptops - no heat needed.

What is the difference between DTF and sublimation?

What is the difference between Clear and Clear Opaque vinyl?

Give your sticker a full 24 hours to cure before its first wash, then it is fine on the top rack on a normal or gentle cycle. Skip the sanitize setting and heated dry, that extra heat is the top reason edges start to lift. For the longest life, hand washing with mild soap is still your best bet.

What surfaces work with sublimation transfers?
Sublimation requires polyester fabrics (65% or higher) or poly-coated hard substrates (mugs, tumblers, photo panels, ceramic). It will not work on cotton or untreated surfaces.

Can Vinyl Stickers be removed?
Vinyl Stickers can be removed but may leave residue depending on the surface and how long they have been applied. They are best for semi-permanent applications on windows, vehicles, signs, and tumblers.
