  • Time: 220 seconds (about 3 minutes 40 seconds)
  • Pressure: Light to medium
  • Convection Oven: 360°F for 14 minutes

Product Details

Running twenty of the same design in one sitting is a different job than pressing a single custom order, and this 16oz shimmer can is built for that kind of volume. The shimmered, opaque glass finish takes a print evenly can after can, in aqua, green, or purple, so a full batch for a market or a wholesale order looks consistent from the first piece to the last. Each one arrives individually boxed, which keeps a big order organised while it is still sitting in your workspace.

If you are filling a bulk order, it is worth browsing our sublimation tumblers and drinkware lineup to round out a themed or matching set with the shimmer finish. This can is sublimation-ready straight out of the box, so there is no pre-treatment needed before your first press. Stocked and shipped from Canada. No border wait, no surprise duties. Because the glass is opaque rather than clear, the shimmer coating shows through evenly under a print instead of looking patchy.

Features:

  • Capacity: 16oz
  • Material: Sublimation-coated glass
  • Design: Shimmered opaque glass can with bamboo lid; available in aqua, green, or purple
  • Includes: Bamboo lid, individual box packaging

Quick Q&A

Q: Can I use a UV DTF wrap on this shimmer can instead of sublimating it?
A: Yes, it takes UV DTF transfers and vinyl as well. UV DTF grips most predictably on smooth, plain glass, and a shimmer coating is a different surface than that, so results can vary can to can. Test one first before committing UV DTF to a full batch.

Q: My shimmer can came out looking duller than I expected, what happened?
A: Dull colour is almost always a press issue rather than a bad blank. Double check your press is actually holding 365°F, since a cooler press underdevelops the ink, and make sure you are pressing the full 220 seconds rather than pulling it early. A shimmer or opaque background can also mute lighter colours in a design, so a bolder palette tends to show up better on this finish than pale pastels do.
