You know the hat before you know the face. Tall, floppy and bright true red, it leans off to one side, scattered with little white snow dots, finished with a fat cream pom-pom and a fur brim stitched in fine black lines, with holly and three berries tucked in at the brim. Below it, a Santa with solid inked black eyes and a long, wavy beard that pours all the way down. This is the storybook Santa, not the mall one. Made, trimmed and boxed one at a time in the Okotoks, Alberta shop.
The hat is the tell: a tall, floppy, snow-dotted red nightcap flopping to one side, with a big cream pom-pom at the tip, a hatched fur brim, and green holly with red berries tucked into its right edge. His eyes are solid black almonds with heavy lashes, his nose a soft blush pink, his mouth open mid-laugh, and his ivory beard falls long and wavy in deep curls.
Good for anyone building a nostalgic Christmas table or wardrobe: a red flannel shirt for the tree lot, matching tees for a family photo, or a reusable canvas gift sack. Put it on a light poly stocking as a sublimation transfer, or stick it on a glass jar or ornament as a UV DTF sticker. Custom sizing and wholesale are available if you need a run.
DTF transfer for fabric, UV DTF permanent sticker for hard surfaces, sublimation transfer for light polyester and poly-coated blanks, and vinyl decal for smooth surfaces. Vinyl is also available laminated, in matte or gloss.
DTF transfers press at 280-300°F for 12-15 seconds, hot or cold peel, followed by a 5-10 second finishing press under parchment. UV DTF stickers peel and stick straight onto clean, dry hard surfaces. Sublimation transfers press onto light-coloured polyester or poly-coated blanks. Vinyl decals apply to any smooth, clean surface.
Wash garments inside out in cold water. Skip the fabric softener and the dryer sheets. Hard-surface stickers need nothing more than a gentle wipe.
