That first cardinal on the fence rail in December still stops you mid-step. Red against snow, bright as a ribbon, and suddenly the season feels real. This watercolour cardinal carries the same quiet lift — a bird on a pine bough with "Merry Christmas!" beside him in flowing black script. It reads as warmth rather than tinsel, which makes it easy to wear to a church potluck, a family dinner, or a long morning behind the coffee counter. Every sheet is run off to order in Okotoks, Alberta.
What's on this design
A male northern cardinal painted in loose watercolour reds, with a black mask and pale beak, perches on a spray of evergreen. Beneath him sits a full poinsettia bloom in soft crimson, a brown pinecone, glossy red berries and green pine needles trailing to the right. "Merry Christmas!" runs alongside in black brush-script lettering, the exclamation mark sweeping under the word.
Who it's for
Press it onto a cream sweatshirt for the Christmas market booth, a canvas tote for bake-sale deliveries, or an apron worn through baking weekend. As a UV DTF sticker it suits a coffee mug, a cookie tin or a window pane; as a vinyl decal it works on a truck's back glass. Cardinal-lovers who keep a feeder stocked all winter tend to claim one first.
Available formats
DTF transfer for fabric, UV DTF permanent sticker for hard surfaces, sublimation transfer for light polyester and poly-coated blanks, and vinyl decal for smooth surfaces. Vinyl is also available laminated, in matte or gloss.
How to apply
DTF transfers press at 280-300°F for 12-15 seconds, hot or cold peel, followed by a 5-10 second finishing press under parchment. UV DTF stickers peel and stick straight onto clean, dry hard surfaces. Sublimation transfers press onto light-coloured polyester or poly-coated blanks. Vinyl decals apply to any smooth, clean surface.
Care
Wash garments inside out in cold water. Skip the fabric softener and the dryer sheets. Hard-surface stickers need nothing more than a gentle wipe.
